Bone Weight Fortune

The Yuan Tiangang Bone Weight method, attributed to the Tang Dynasty astrologer Yuan Tiangang, calculates destiny by adding the weights of birth year, month, day, and hour, then consulting fortune poems.

Year weight is determined by the 60-year stem-branch cycle, month by lunar month, day by lunar date, and hour by the 12 traditional Chinese hours. Sum all four for the total bone weight.

Fortune poems are the core of the Bone Weight method. Each total weight corresponds to a specific poem describing the general characteristics, life path, and key considerations of that destiny.

Total bone weight ranges from 2.1 to 7.2 Liang, classified into five levels: lowest, low, medium-high, high, and supreme. Heavier weights generally indicate better fortune, but the specific poem provides the true insight.
