Liu Yao Seeking Tips
Direction
The earthly branch direction where the useful god resides indicates where the lost item is. Yin/Mao = East, Si/Wu = South, Shen/You = West, Hai/Zi = North, Chen/Xu/Chou/Wei = Center or corners.
Recovery Probability
If the useful god is strong, supported, or transforms auspiciously, the item is likely recoverable. If weak, clashed, or transforms into tomb/extinction, recovery is difficult. Static hexagrams look at useful god holding the self line; moving hexagrams look at transformed lines.
Search Timing
The day when the useful god meets its value, combination, or clash is the response period. Empty ones wait for empty exit; tomb ones wait for tomb clash. Seizing the response period improves recovery chances.
Specific Location
Bagua classifies locations: Qian = high/metal, Kun = flat/clothing, Zhen = wood/moving, Xun = rope/wind, Kan = water/low, Li = fire/bright, Gen = mountain/still, Dui = gap/broken.
